Pampa del Leoncito at twilight

San Juan, Argentina

This old dried lake bed extends for a few kilometers and has a magnificent background with the Ansilta mountain range and the impressive Cerro Mercedario. After walking for hours looking for some natural object to put in the foreground composition of my photo, I found that dead branch. We camped for two days waiting for good weather and  the third day we were blessed with that magnificent twilight light minutes before sunrise.
