Some words about me

I was born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) in 1978. My passion for landscape photography started during my first trip to Patagonia almost ten years ago, with a 35mm SLR film camera at my disposal. I was amazed by the natural beauty and wilderness of this land. I was born and raised in a big flat and contaminated city, that´s why that first contact with the wild nature produced such a big impact on me. At that moment I realized that I would live there some day, and felt the urge to capture and communicate all those moments and places I´ve been witnessed. Since then, I´ve improved my skills, learned to see, to previsualize a scene, compose and expose correctly. This learning process never stops. All my motivation comes from nature and the possibility that it gives me to experience, capture, and show to the world something different and unique every time I go out shooting. Mother nature has always something new to show us, its shapes, textures, colors and moments of light are endless. Through photography I can materialize one of the things I enjoy most in life: being in touch with nature, hear its sounds, witness its spectacular events. Satisfactory experiences fill the soul, and the simple fact to look a photograph of an event that left a mark on us is capable to bring to the memory the greatest moments of our lives. This is how I see nature through photography, and what I do best. I hope you enjoy and feel inspired by my photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.
